Triton Enters Region 4 Men's Soccer Tournament as a No. 4 Seed With a Home Quarterfinal
RIVER GROVE, Ill. — One of the most interesting details about Triton College's postseason is the gap between its national standing and its regional seed. The Trojans are 14–1–2, ranked No. 14 in the NJCAA Division II poll cited by their athletics department and enter the Region 4 tournament on a six-match winning streak. Yet they are the No. 4 seed in the bracket, a position that gives them an opening-round bye and a home quarterfinal but does not place them among the top three regional seeds.
